Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you’ll be met by your Safari Circuit representative. Transfer to your hotel in Nairobi for check-in and rest after your journey. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a relaxed evening and briefing about your safari adventure.
Day 2: Nairobi National Park & Giraffe Centre
Set out on a morning game drive in Nairobi National Park, with opportunities to encounter rhinos, lions, buffalo, giraffes, and other wildlife — a rare chance to experience the Big Five against the backdrop of the city skyline..
Later, visit the Giraffe Centre for a close encounter with the endangered Rothschild giraffes. Return to your hotel in the afternoon to relax or explore the city.
Day 3: Nairobi → Maasai Mara National Reserve
Travel through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, passing rolling hills and open plains. Arrive in the Maasai Mara for your first game drive, where elephants, lions, and plains game roam freely across vast savannahs.
Day 4: Full Day in Maasai Mara
Spend the day exploring one of Africa’s most iconic reserves. Unhurried game drives offer excellent chances to spot the Big Five, along with cheetahs, giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras in their natural habitat.
Optional activities include a Maasai village visit or hot air balloon safari (at extra cost).
Day 5 – From the Wild to the Coast
Return to Nairobi and board the SGR train to the coast. Enjoy scenic views as the landscape transforms from open savannah to greener countryside on your way to the Indian Ocean.
Day 6 – Coastal Relaxation
A full day to relax by the ocean, with soft sandy beaches, warm waters, and time to slow down after days spent on safari.
Day 7 – Nairobi
After breakfast, board the SGR back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Optionally, visit the Giraffe Centre for a close-up encounter feeding the Rothschild giraffes. Overnight in Nairobi.
